Jan Rossen Dacri

Pioneering Educator and Trainer in the Field of Microcurrent Technology for Over Four Decades

Jan was born in Burbank, CA. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii and her Master’s Degree in Education from Tufts University in Boston, MA.

In 1978, when the groundbreaking Acuscope made its debut, Jan’s husband, Dr. Joel Rossen, became the first veterinarian to incorporate this innovative technology in his small animal practice in North Hollywood, California. Witnessing the transformative impact of microcurrent technology on animals, Jan and Joel embarked on a mission to also introduce the Acuscope to the human medical community. Their dedication and enthusiasm resonated with the inventor and manufacturer, Dr. Tony Nebrensky, who offered them the first ever Acuscope distributorship in America.

Jan was a natural fit for the role of the company’s Trainer and spent countless hours learning directly from Dr. Nebrensky. This rigorous training gave Jan a deep understanding of the technology and its profound effects on human physiology. In 1983, after five years of training, Dr. Nebrensky asked Jan to write the first operator’s manual for the technology. The comprehensive manual she went on to write became the definitive guide to the Acuscope and Myopulse. For years, Jan meticulously revised the manuals as each new model was released, including the latest models: the Acuscope 80T, Myopulse 75T, Myopulse 75TN, and the Neuroscope.

Jan’s passion for teaching extended beyond microcurrent technology. She expanded minds as a corporate motivational speaker specializing in memory improvement and human potential and was a respected yoga teacher long before the practice gained mainstream popularity in America. Jan drew upon her expertise as a trainer of the mind, the body, and Acuscope technology to form her unique vision of the Comprehensive Training Program.

Today, Jan is a full-time Trainer of the Acuscope and Myopulse System. While no longer an Acuscope distributor, she continues to support current distributors by providing owners/operators with in-depth knowledge of the technology and offering step-by-step guidance in applications and treatment procedures. She conducts live training sessions on Zoom and FaceTime, coaching professional healthcare practitioners in their treatment rooms and private owners in their homes around the globe.

Jan’s greatest satisfactions are when an Acuscope trainee says, “That makes sense, now I understand,” and when she receives feedback about successful results in applying the techniques she teaches. She experiences these rewards daily.

I love my work.
